LCD Soundsystem is an American dance-punk and electronic rock band led by James Murphy, formed in New York City in 2002. Known for their emotionally charged, danceable music blending post-punk, electronic, and disco influences, they rose to prominence with albums like Sound of Silver (2007) and This Is Happening (2010), which are widely considered modern classics. The band disbanded in 2011 but reunited in 2016 and released American Dream in 2017. Their upcoming performance at Brooklyn Steel on December 3, 2026, is part of their Tour 2025, celebrating extended touring featuring residencies at major venues.
The setlist for this tour is expected to include fan favorites such as "Tonite," "You Wanted a Hit," and "All My Friends," which is known for being an emotional crowd sing-along moment. The live performances of LCD Soundsystem have consistently received positive reviews, with audiences praising the energy and engagement during their shows. This event promises to be a memorable experience for fans.
Brooklyn, known for its vibrant arts scene, will provide an exciting backdrop for this concert. The venue's location in East Williamsburg adds to the cultural richness of the event.
Brooklyn Steel, located at 319 Frost St, Brooklyn, NY 11222, is a mid-size music venue with a capacity of approximately 1,800. All events at Brooklyn Steel are general admission, meaning there is no assigned seating. The venue features an open main floor and tapered balconies on the sides, providing various viewing options for attendees.
The venue is known for its industrial-chic design and includes three full bars and ample restroom facilities. However, sections at the far sides and rear of the balcony should be avoided as they can obstruct sightlines for some performances.
Brooklyn Steel does not have a dedicated parking lot. Street parking in East Williamsburg is extremely limited, especially on busy weekend nights. It is advisable to use public transit or rideshare services when attending events.
The best parking option would be metered street parking around Frost St, which can vary in price depending on the time of day. It is recommended to plan ahead as parking can be challenging during events.
Prices currently start around $40 for general admission tickets to see LCD Soundsystem at Brooklyn Steel on December 3, 2026. For more information about this event and ticket availability, visit ticketsbronx.net.
